Reflections from London: The PA Show 2026
A conference dedicated to the personal development of PAs, EAs, VAs and Office Managers
In the last week of February, I had the pleasure of traveling to London for the PA Show Spring. As the flagship event for administrative professionals, it was two days of immersive learning, featuring five content streams and over 100 suppliers. For someone who views administration as a craft of stewardship, attending was a vital opportunity to sharpen my tools and bring fresh clarity back to my clients.
Cultivating Authentic Branding
One of the highlights of the conference was a session led by Yota Trom (@yotatrom). She spoke deeply about the importance of authentic personal branding and knowing your worth. Her insights resonated with the core of Whispered Clarity—the belief that our professional systems should be an honest reflection of our values. Whether you are an artist or a non-profit leader, your brand isn't just what you say; it’s the intentionality behind how you show up and the foundation you build for your work.
Refining the Digital Toolkit
A significant portion of my time was spent diving into the future of "Digital Sanctuaries." I attended sessions focused on:
AI & Microsoft Copilot: Learning how to set up Copilot to act as a seamless extension of your daily workflow, reducing the "noise" of repetitive tasks.
Workflow Automations: Exploring ways to make day-to-day systems run quietly in the background, freeing up more brain space for creative output.
Modern Productivity Tools: I spent time learning more about platforms that help build a steady foundation for every season of business, including:
Connecting with the Community
Beyond the technology, the PA Show was about the people who hold the "backstage" of businesses together. I was introduced to wonderful groups like The Officials, a community and training platform dedicated to administrative professionals. Connecting with others who share a passion for organizational architecture reminds me that while the work of administration often happens quietly, its impact is the bedrock of any successful mission.
Bringing it Home
I’ve returned from London with a wealth of knowledge that I am slowly weaving into the workflows of my business and my clients' operations. These new tools and techniques aren't just about efficiency—they are about creating the simple, clear environments where your best work can flourish.
As I review my notes and update my systems, I am reminded that even the most sophisticated modern software serves the same ancient purpose: to provide a steady foundation so that you can stay focused on your craft. 🌬️🍃🌸
